X-Oz is a small, privately held company that specialises in software for the XFree86 technology space. Our most notable member is co-founder and CTO David Dawes of the XFree86 Project. The two other partners that make up X-Oz work on the various things like: project management, design, testing, documentation, feedback and support of our software. We rely on part-time employees and ad-hoc consultants as well.

We work mainly on standards and specifications like PCI and of course X itself. This is all part of our vision of a vector-based X; we hope to have the initial work up sometime before summer.

We will provide quotes free of charge; this is the best choice when the scope is small and the effort is measurable. Full project plans, which typically span greater amounts of time and effort expended, are priced accordingly. Project quotes are non-refundable but are applied to the total project cost.

X-Oz is based in the Pocono Mountains of NorthEastern Pennsylvania but still only 83 miles northwest of midtown New York and 120 miles northeast of Philadelphia.
